L3 Technologies, Inc. (L3) is committed to maintaining and supporting a safe and secure global supply chain. As a part of that commitment, L3 is a certified member of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.

As an L3 business partner, we appreciate and value your important role in the safe and secure worldwide movement of L3 cargo. For this reason, L3 is committed to educating all international business partners involved in the L3 global supply chain.

Consistent with L3’s obligations and responsibilities as a C-TPAT member, business partners involved in L3’s global supply chain are encouraged to follow these minimum-security standards in their day to day business operations:

  • Container and Trailer Security
  • Security Training and Threat Awareness
  • Container and Trailer Seals
  • Business Partner Reevaluation

  • Shipping Security
  • Container Storage
  • Employee ID Controls
  • Physical Security

Report Security Incidents:

We strongly encourage all business partners to immediately report to the appropriate law enforcement agency and directly to L3 within 24 hours of any security incident involving L3 cargo. Security incidents may include cargo tampering, cargo theft, placement of contraband or other suspicious or unusual activities.

Supply Chain Security Status Notification:

As a C-TPAT certified company, L3 is required to track those business partners with supply chain security certifications. If your company is C-TPAT certified or certified in any other supply chain security program (AEO, PIP, etc.), please provide your certification status directly to L3.

Join C-TPAT or Other Supply Chain Security Programs:

We strongly encourage all L3 business partners, if eligible, to join C-TPAT or any other equivalent supply chain security program (AEO, PIP, etc.). Participating in a Supply Chain Security Program results in many benefits, including:

  • Fewer cargo delays
  • Front-of-the-line treatment
  • Fewer cargo exams
  • Moving cargo faster
  • Priority processing
  • Reputational protection
  • Meeting customer-driven supply chain security requirements
